Providing Health Career Training Beyond Expectations

Health Career Institute of Laredo offers health career training programs to prepare students for jobs in the medical field. HCIL is approved and regulated by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), Career Schools and Colleges (CSC), Austin, TX.

Our courses are designed to set students up for success, by helping them acquire required knowledge, obtain necessary skills and gain state certification. At Health Career Institute of Laredo, we want our students to accomplish their career goals quickly.

Medical Assistant Program

The in-demand Medical Assistant program is our newest addition to our career trainings. Medical Assistants perform administrative and clinical tasks at various medical facilities, such as physicians’ offices, hospitals and outpatient clinics. Health Career Institute of Laredo is approved and regulated by the TWC and Career Schools and Colleges (CSC), Austin, TX. Enrollment at HCIL is always ongoing. We are currently registering students for this NEW            program.

Phlebotomy Technician Program

This program is designed to prepare students for careers as phlebotomy technicians. Our program focuses on developing working entry level skills and preparation to pass the Phlebotomy Certification Exam. This program can be completed in as little as 10 weeks, and financial assistance is available through student loans.

Pharmacy Technician Program

This program offers the education tools necessary for a successful career in pharmacy. You’ll complete hands-on pharmacy training and job readiness training, as well as prepare for the PTCE. This program can be completed in three months, and financial assistance is available to qualified candidates.

CPR & First Aid Training

Do you know what to do in an emergency situation? Do you have the training needed to save someone from choking? Our CPR and First Aid courses can prepare you with important lifesaving skills that could prove instrumental someday.
